Achieve Happiness through Silence and Reflection

The answers we so desperately seek, the decisions we find so hard to make can all become clear and easy by practicing moments of silence and reflection.
The ability to make wise decisions and the ability to quickly effective solutions to problems are them in business, relationships, health or live in general are key traits of smart leaders and successful people.
Using reflection to still your minds and tap into your inner energy will bring you answers to many of your questions. Your feelings and emotions are the access points to your inner mind-your inner energy.
To get in touch with your feelings and emotions you must practice silence and reflection on a regular basis. People who practice it correctly and on a regular basis are amazed at the difference it makes in their lives.
Can you remember the last time you stopped for a moment and reflected on what is going on in and around you? We are always so busy being busy. Most of us never make the time to simply sit, and do nothing. We just can't seem to find the time to experience the silence of solitude.
Silence requires that you sit quietly, perfectly still, back and head erect, eyes open, without any interruptions whatsoever for at least 30 minutes. An hour is better.
Give it a try. Stop for a moment, find a place you feel comfortable, secure and free from interruptions. Allow your body to become completely relaxed, and breathe deeply. Just let your mind flow. Don't think about ANYTHING.
After 20 or 25 minutes, you'll begin to feel deeply relaxed. You'll begin to experience a flow of energy coming into your mind and body. You'll have a tremendous sense of well-being. Your mind will be filled with a sense of peace and calm. Your job is just to relax and listen to your inner voice.
At a certain stage during your period of silence, the answers to the most pressing difficulties facing you will emerge quietly and clearly. It will feel so perfect that you'll experience a sigh of relief. You will feel like 100 lbs of weight have dropped from your shoulders. You will feel free, happy, content and secure.
This is the release of confusion, tension, anxiety and frustration you have been holding within. You will experience a deep sense of gratitude and contentment. While you're sitting there, the light bulb will go on; your mind will be filled with the excitement of new ideas. You will feel a rush of adrenaline go through your body, much like the feeling you get after a good work out.
This is what is called "insight." Insights are very powerful because they stimulate the brain to think and take action.
The answers will all become very clear. What a wonderful feeling. It's like a bird being let loose from a cage to soar free in the sky.
When you emerge from this period of quiet, take action do exactly what has come to you. It may involve dealing with a human situation, starting something or quitting something. Whatever it is, when you follow the guidance received in periods of silence it will turn out to be exactly the right thing to do. Infact, it usually works out far better than you could have imagined. Trust yourself and your inner voices.
Give it a try and see for yourself the amazing power of silence and reflection. Develop the habit of listening to yourself and then acting on the guidance you receive. This is the path to happiness, and the connection to your soul.
