Why do the Masses Fail to Succeed Financially?

by Joshua Nelson

A question that I am asked often is "Why is it that 97% of the population fail to succeed financially." After years of experience dealing and working with people, I have come to find out that it's not because some people "have it" and some people don't. It comes down to a lack of knowledge. When you understand this and apply what I am about to teach, your life can go from tragic to magic in a very short period of time.

When we grew up as children we are taught what our parents, teachers, coaches, and relatives teach us. When the masses get good grades, graduate high school, go to college, get a degree, to get a good "job", and you know the rest. Then they end up working until they are 60, retire to eventually get a part-time job and rely on friends, family, and the government to support them. Then here it gets worse! They teach their kids, which is us to do the same thing! This makes me upset. If what you did didn't work, why would you teach some else your mistakes. Well it is from ignorance and lack of knowledge. My parents taught me this cycle because it was all they knew. Think about it? Our parents don't intensionally set us up for failure, but in reality that is what they did. If you do what the masses do, you get what the masses got, which is a dead end "job" with no financially stability. How do we fix this? One word, Knowledge.

How do we obtain knowledge to become successful?

First, there are many books and articles out there written by successful people. Why would I read these you ask? Well if listening to what the masses teach gets you what they have, wouldn't it make since to listen to what wealthy individuals teach, and apply what they did and get what they have. See wealthy people think different than the masses. They go against the grain and apply wealth principals to they're lives. In these books and articles is where you find these principals that you can in turn apply in your life. When applied you get the same results they got. Successful people are no different than anyone else, they just do the opposite of what most people do.

Second is to apply the knowledge to your life. You need to have a mentor or coach that's been where your at, and is where you want to be so they can show you the ropes. 4 years ago I found a mentor that changed my life. I went from working 100 hours a week having no time or freedom, to in a short 6 months building my own business and earning a 6 figure income. This is what happens when you have an expert teaching you what they have done. You go to college and learn from a professor, why not do the same thing to become successful. Learn from someone who has done it. Made sense to me 4 years ago and my life has never been the same.

Lastly, the masses like to be comfortable. Life is about change and growth. If your life is not changing and you are not growing, then your dead. Look at life on earth. Tree's, flowers, animals, etc. are either in a state of growing or dying. This is the same principal in our lives. Ask yourself this question. Are you growing or dying? If your not in a state of growth, your life will remain the same. You must get uncomfortable and do what the masses are not willing to do in order for your life to change. If your willing to get out of your comfort zone and do something other than what everyone has taught you, then your ready to join the successful people and have an abundant and fulfilled life.
