Your Dreams Are Waiting!
by Aissa Hillebrand
Anyone can change their life and get the results they want! It may seem very challenging at times, but it all comes down to creating a consistent intentional lifestyle. Imagine the possibilities of truly creating a life that you want. What would that look like for you? What freedoms would it afford you and your family?
Are you willing to pay the price to create self-discipline? Many are willing and able to do so. Those who are willing to pay that price, have a couple of consistent behaviors that I have noticed that keep them on track.
1. They are willing to be uncomfortable. They actually become comfortable with being uncomfortable. They realize that to create something they have not yet achieved they must do something they have not yet done. That comes with an increase feeling of "discomfort" from the comfort of their routines and current lifestyle. They then start to create new habits and new routines that foster the development of their dreams.
2. They have an attitude of gratitude and are appreciative for it all, the good and not so good. They are always giving "Thanks"! They are thankful and grateful, reminding themselves of all the blessings they have. They do this not just once and while but on a daily basis.
3. They work hard. Period.
4. They are courageous and will take action not in the absent in fear or doubt but in spite of it. Often times during periods of growth, there is fear or doubt that sneaks in and tries to pull you back to a place of comfort. It is in spite of that voice that one must move forward toward their dreams. This is true courage.
5. They are excellent communicators and are continually seeking to learn more. They are receptive and are great listeners. They are always willing to learn more about themselves to be better communicators.
6. They expect great things all the time. They have an attitude of expectancy and realized that if they expect great things, great things will come their way.
7. They have an extremely vivid imagination. They work on visualizing their dreams everyday. Every day single day. I believe this is such a powerful tool to creating your dreams and keeping you motivated.
8. They take 100% responsibility for their actions and their results. They never put blame on others. They realized if they want to change, they have the power to do so. And it is not particularly what happens to them but how they deal with it.
9. They understand the their thoughts lead to creating actions and their actions then creates motivation. They do not wait for others to motivate them.
10. They are committed and never ever give up! It's just not acceptable. Their dreams are worth more than that!
